Acclimate to the most well known symptom in menopause.

  1. Although the studies are mixed, black cohosh is one of the most commonly used non hormonal treatments for hot flashes and night sweats. For women who want to avoid the use of hormone therapy, this botanical can be a wonderful support for those hot spells.
  2. Hot flashes can occur during the day or night, making them night sweats! Women who respond well to black cohosh report improvements in both the daytime and nighttime hot flashes. A 2010 review by researchers found that black cohosh provided a 26% reduction in hot flashes and night sweats (also known as vasomotor symptoms).

Acclimate: Black Cohosh For Hot Flashes Quote

Jessica Gingrich, Gennev Coach and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, says:

For those clients with hot flashes and night sweats that just won't quit, we often add in a black cohosh supplement. This herbal addition helps take the edge off those temperature changes, allowing women to feel like hot flashes are more manageable and night sweats are less disruptive.

Black cohosh’s results can be mixed
As with every supplement, results tend to be a mixed bag. What works brilliantly for one woman is less effective for another. Black cohosh has been considered effective for treating menopausal symptoms in the US for over fifty years, but clinical results vary. Scientists don’t know exactly which compounds in black cohosh treat menopause symptoms; it could be triterpene glycosides, resins, or aromatic acid derivatives. Because of this inconsistency, different products vary, and studies find varying results as to the root’s effectiveness. Read more.

Seems to work

I've been taking Black Cohosh for about 4 weeks and it does seem to help with the frequency and duration of hot flashes. They still occur but not as often and they don't seem to last as long. I have also been receiving compliments on how nice my hair looks. Since I haven't changed anything around my hair care/routine, perhaps Black Cohosh is why?

It's not made a difference yet

It has not helped at all yet. I'm giving it a month.

Magic in a Bottle?

I started taking a variety of gennev products 3 years ago to help with horrible hot flashes and night sweats. I stopped a few times in between orders since the hot flashes went away. But within a few weeks to a month, they slowly came back (along with the intensity). I stated taking Acclimate, along with their Magnesium, vitamin d and fish oil and within 3 weeks the hot flashes and night sweats are gone.

Magic in a few bottles!!!

Need more time

I have only been taking Black Cohosh for just over a week. Might need more time to see if my hot flashes subside.

Black Cohosh

My gynecologist oncologist recommended I try Black Cohosh after a complete hysterectomy. I was hoping it would stop my hot flashes. It did help them, but the greatest benefit for me was much decreased anxiety. I love it!
